AP Govt Plans for the development of Vontimitta

1.  On  Sri Ramanavami Day for Dwajarohana Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister will participate.. On this occasion CM will  present the lord with (Pattu Vastralu) Silk Clothes, and  Thalambralu. . Both Pattu Vastras and Thalambralu are  for kalyanostavam.

2.  Water to be arranged for Theppostavam in ontimittaTank..

3.  Pushakarini in the temple to be rennovated and  developed.

4.  Since it is believed  that  Maha Kavi  Pothana has written Bhagavatham  here , a Temple for Pothana is to be constructed.and developed.

5.  To develop Large  Beautiful  Garden  near the Temple.

6.  To Grow maximum plants in forests and arrange permanent water supplies to the Tank by making way for rain  water to reach the Tank.

7.   To Develop  circuits for visiting religious places in , Kanipakam, Tirupathi ontimitta and Kadapa.

8.  To develop area around vontimitta  for conducting processions ,

Govt’ earmarked   RS. 50 CRORES for the  development .

The development of vontimitta not only boosts Tourism of places of importantance such as Devunikadapa, Ameen peer Dargah,  and other places which creates employment for drought stricken people of this area.
